Hello and Welcome Back!
It has been a challenging few months and we are thrilled to be able to welcome you back to the Dunbar Community Centre! We are moving towards the “new normal” while focusing on the safety of staff, volunteers and patrons. You will see that things look different when you come to the Centre, however the same friendly faces are ready to greet you. We ask that you follow staff’s direction and observe the signage throughout the Centre. At this time we are offering a smaller menu of programs due to space limitations, health protocols and a focus on priority programs in the area of seniors and youth. The Centre’s gymnasium and room 208 are the main rooms being used this Fall as more people can be in those spaces safely. We also have more time allotted between programs to allow for the necessary cleaning and require pre-registration if you would like to participate.
Once health and safety protocols allow, we look forward to increasing our programming and bringing back many of your favourite activities. In the meantime please stay up to date by visiting the Dunbar Community Centre website for the latest news or calling the front desk at 604-222-6060 Monday-Friday.
