The Dunbar Community Centre Association Special General Meeting was conducted on September 27th at 7:30 PM. There were approximately 30 members present. In attendance from the Parks Board as guests were Donnie Rosa, Director of Recreation, Jennifer Swan, Dunbar Community Recreation Supervisor and Roy Liu, Senior Programmer.
After a presentation and question period, the members passed a resolution to accept the proposed JOA conditional on final resolution of some outstanding matters (20 in favour, 4 against, 0 abstaining) and passed a special resolution to amend the DCCA by-laws to provide program participants with the option to decline the free membership given upon program registration (21 in favour, 1 against, 1 abstaining).
