Youth Bursaries and Employment Opportunities
The Dunbar Community Association will be offering up to two (2), one thousand dollar ($1000.00) bursaries to secondary school students within the Dunbar neighbourhood. Application forms are available at the front desk at Dunbar Community Centre. Completed applications should be submitted at the front desk at Dunbar Community Centre, to the Bursary Committee, c/o Community Youth Worker at Dunbar Community Centre, by March 31st, 2024. Who We Are
Since 1958 the Community Centre has been jointly operated by the Vancouver Park Board and the Dunbar Community Centre Association, a volunteer non-profit society and registered charity.
In those 58 years over 200 community members have volunteered on the Association Board and more than 2,000 have volunteered at the Centre to fulfil the vision of representing and advocating for the recreational, social and educational interests of the Dunbar community.
