Thank you to everyone who attended and played a part in making today’s Patron Appreciation Event – Music in the Park, such a wonderful event.  We thank our patrons for your support, thank you to our spectacular youth volunteers, all the Centre staff, Board members, community vendors and special thanks to our community sponsor Stong’s who always supports community events at the Centre. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and got a frisbee to take home after the bbq! We look forward to building on this event in the years to come! Have a great weekend!

Artists in Communities 2024 Call for Artists

We are so excited and proud to announce that Dunbar has been selected to host a pilot project two-year youth focused Artist in Residency. We last hosted an AIC in 2015 and it left long lasting legacies and lifted community spirit. Who We Are

Since 1958 the Community Centre has been jointly operated by the Vancouver Park Board and the Dunbar Community Centre Association, a volunteer non-profit society and registered charity.

In those 58 years over 200 community members have volunteered on the Association Board and more than 2,000 have volunteered at the Centre to fulfil the vision of representing and advocating for the recreational, social and educational interests of the Dunbar community.
