Facility Rentals
The Dunbar Community Centre opened in 1954 and at 46,000 square feet, is one of the largest community centres in Vancouver. Located in Memorial Park West, the Centre is adjacent to a playground, tennis courts, ball fields and a lawn bowling facility.
Dunbar offers recreational, arts and cultural programming for all ages in this single building, which includes:

RENTAL INFORMATION
Dunbar offers room rentals at competitive rates for a variety of meetings and events. Please e-mail ac.revuocnav@slatnerccrabnud or call 604-222-6060 Ext.‘1’ to speak to one of our staff for enquiries or to make a booking.
All reservations are subject to our room rental policies. Damage and cleaning deposits may apply.

ROOM AVAILABILITY
Priority is given to community centre programming, and rentals thereafter. Available rooms can be rented for one hour on a first-come-first-served basis. Rentals longer than an hour must be reserved in advance. Advanced bookings open one month before each season for the next three months. If you need to book farther in advance for a special occasion, please let us know. We are happy to consider if we are able to accommodate your booking.
Sept-Dec bookings are available beginning August 1
Jan-Apr bookings December 1
May-Aug bookings April 1
Please note that room rentals are not available for private *for profit* purposes (e.g. to run private fitness classes). If you have an idea for a program or class that you would like to run at Dunbar, please ask to speak with one of our Programmers.
If you would like to review the Facilities prior to booking, an appointment must be made in advance with our staff to view the room and to review the rental guidelines. Please email ac.revuocnav@slatnerccrabnud or call 604-222-6060 Ext.‘1’.
BOOKING AND CONTRACTS
We will confirm bookings over the phone, but rental contracts must be completed in person. Appointments to tour the premises and to draft contracts may be made with one of our staff. Contract details required:
- Event date
- Nature of event
- Number of attendees
- Duration of rental
- Other items: set-up and clean-up time, person(s) in charge of the set-up/clean-up; rental delivery date, contact information for caterers and rental companies.
